Another one of the greats gone too soon. I was fortunate to see him play at Shane Park in Detroit back in the 80's and I still have fond memories of that show.
Sad day for me as well. He along with Grover Washington Jr, Wes Montgomery, Earl Klugh and others brought smooth jazz forward defining that genre. Ramsey will always be in with the in crowd. Rest In Peace.
