Roland A-300

Hi! I don't know if you guys can help me, but I've got an A-300 MIDI keyboard and it no longer wants to send/receive control maps making it very hard to program. Has anyone run into this?

Only when the computer does auto updates of its OS.

Ughhhhhh that's bad news.

Check the general midi controls on the Roland. Receive/send may have been disabled. Do the same on the computer software, it maybe turned off there (more likely the case).

I'm getting the "transmitting" message on the keyboard as well as in the software, however nothing is being transmitted.

Swap out the midi cable that you are using with a new cable.

I've been using the USB port. Maybe that's my issue. I'll try a direct MIDI connection. Thanks for the idea..!
