Hey guys, first post here.
Ive got my Roland AX-1 for quite some time now, bought it from a guy several years ago.
The thing is that it suddenly wont bloody start!?
It has worked just fine since today, changed batteries etc.

Does anyone have a clue what to do? Has it played its last ballad?

Does it have a display or any indicator lights to show if it's working or not? Is anything lighting up?

It has plenty of it, non of them are showing thought. :/
Also tried to power it up with an AC-cable, without any success.

Are you living in a Northern part of the country?

If so, the current cold snap could have generated a simple rug shock that may have fried an internal CMOS chip.

It may have to go into the shop for service.

It probably won't be cheap.

Well, living in Sweden and the winters here can be pretty harsh, so it sounds like a possibly tradgedy :(
Thanks for the help, i guess its time to say goodbye to my old friend!

If it's an intermittent then it is probably a cold solder joint or loose connection inside the unit.

Taking the proper precautions for static discharge you should open it up and look for dodgy connections.
