I currently use a Roland Discover 5 workstation keyboard mainly to play midi files but also use the sample sounds too. I am looking to replace with another Roland if possible. The Discover 5 uses floppy discs to transport midis, and this system is getting a bit dated now. Which Roland workstation would be best to replace the Discover with? I don't want to be editing midi files on a computer I want to be able to edit and arrange everything on the keyboard. For example - changing midi file guitar/drum/bass sounds to better ones using the keyboard sample sounds etc etc.
I have been looking at the following Roland keyboards -
BK5, FA06, VR09 & GW 8

Any ideas appreciated!

Cheers
