So I really like that I can plug in a USB and download recordings as a MIDI file, but I was wondering if I can change the instrument of a recording before downloading the MIDI. For instance, I have a song recorded in concert piano, but I like the song better as '60s string. Is there a way to easily switch the instrument with keyboard functions, or will I just have to edit the MIDI file on my computer?

Easiest way is probably to edit in a DAW.

Depending on how advanced or crappy the keyboard sequencer may be, it can't hold a candle to a proper computer DAW.

Check your manual and it might give you some tips on preparing a MID for export, and while it should be doable this is a case where I prefer a limo to a scooter when it comes to creating a sequence.

Gary ;)
