The third genre round is now over. Once again, I was able to make something simple with every third style from every genre.
I did sometimes have problems with the instruments, I had to turn them up a lot louder compared to the orchestra to still be audible in the recording. So the instrument sounded much louder compared to the orchestra on my keyboard than in the recording.
I had a hard time with the last genre, especially when I play the piano. The last genre was a Piano Boogie and I decided to try something different. Normally I record with two cables, for left and right and that should be stereo. I decided to record the last track in simple mono and therefore with only 1 cable. Then the volumes of the instrument compared to the orchestra sounded exactly like on the keyboard. That is convenient, because then you can at least rely on what you hear. Otherwise, you have to listen to the recording every time and see if it is loud enough.
I don't know if this applies to all styles, but from now on I will just record in mono and I will see. I'll save another cable that I can keep as a spare.
If you find something nice, you can always download the mp3 of it on my website: https://www.masterthekeyboard.be/

It seems I still need the splitter cable cause I still need left and right, even if I only record line 1 which should be in mono. If I only use one cable it does not sound the same as on the keyboard it seems.
So still need two cables if I have two line outs, left and right, but gonna start recording only line 1 from now on. Will see how it goes.
