Roland GW-7 favourites

Hi, I've just purchased a used GW-7. The manual seems to indicate that I can set up up to 10 tones in each of the 10 tone banks?? I've tried to do this but it seems to over-write the first with the second ie only one per bank. Is the wording in the manual confusing? Or am I missing something? Roland are not interested due to the age of the workstation. Can anyone out there share how I may be able to set these up, or have I misunderstood the (very brief, single paragraph) manual instructions?? Any suggestions gratefully received, otherwise it's back to using the wheel to scroll through hundreds of tones to reach the one I want - not ideal in a gig situation!!!! Thanks to all for reading this!
