Hello; I am trying to use a foot pedal through my RD-2000 to control the playback function in Logic (to initiate a backing track).
I am using the Roland DP2 pedal. I can get Logic to assign any of the keys without a problem. However, when I try to assign
a pedal, Logic recognizes it and assigns it, but when I press the pedal nothing happens. I have tried all three of my Roland
pedals and they all do the same. There is no polarity switch on the pedal. Also, I can see (by the little blinking light in the toolbar)
that Logic is receiving MIDI, but nothing happens.
