Hi There,

I am new to the forums and would just like to ask a question for fellow RD users. Is there a way to turn on a layer using a foot pedal switch? For example I would like to play with a Piano patch on the upper 1 layer, then using a foot pedal switch, turn on say a Strings patch on upper 2 layer?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi.

I've got the same piano.I havent used it like that.I just go to the 4 buttons and press each one,2 red, 2 green lights come on.Then I choose which sound for each one then add the drums/tempo and thats it ready to play.I've had this piano since 2005.

I don't believe so. The foot pedals can be programmed for assigned for various effects but I don't believe they can be assigned to change sounds. I was also interested in doing this but haven't found it to be possible. It may be but after my research it doesn't seem to be.
