Scorch marks or mildew in my QY100?

Good day,

Whilst changing the backup battery on my little QY100, I noticed these marks on the copper foil shielding. This is in the area between DC input and headphone input. Can't say I've noticed the mark before now. Or it could be I am fully awake today.

The unit is fully functioning with no problems. The mark feels rough to the touch and does not penetrate to the reverse side of the shielding. Peering underneath the shielding, I can't see any signs of burning. Is it a scorch mark or mildew - hard to say.

Looks like simple oxidation to me. Prolly a little schmutz got onto it during manufacture and it's been slowly rotting away for years. Nothing to worry about. It's glacial in time frame.
