We got hit by storm damage from Hurricane Helene. We’ve had no power since 4:43AM Friday but hopefully it will be back on within the next 4 days. = I hope none of you were injured or seriously affected by the storm. Keep safe!

That Helene was the mother of all hurricanes apparently. He survived that one.

If his home really was flattened by Helene then he might very easily be in the process of relocating permanently. Give him a chance to relocate from whatever temporary shelter housing him to a working internet hookup and freedom to pursue our petty pecadillos. Worst case scenario and maybe he's taken ill. Either way he may not be back for some time to come. Hopefully he's still breathing and we all wish him well.

I would have thought you would have his details since he is our moderator.
I should imagine Ian (the previous administrator) would have his details if you don't. It would be worthwhile calling him, yes?

You are absolutely right Gary.
However, I am not expecting any of the admin or mods to disclose any private info publicly.
I wasn't asking for it either.
I just suggested the admin investigate and report back to us.
BTW. . Seems we have only one other mod. here and he is not so active. This puts us all in a vulnerable situation as we have no control over any dubious activity.
We need another mod. Seriously!
