As a bit of backhround, I am working on Married Life. So I'm wanting to try to put some 'feel' into it.

So, is there a way to do a slow fade out without taking the piece to a daw? I'm guessing not. In fact, I also want to vary tempo in the "quiet places". Given that I am recording to the 5 tracks of the 660, I'm guessing there is no way to have a tempo variance w/o a DAW.

Thought I'd check here to see what folks think.

Actually, same question for fading louder. Of course the questions apply to sustained notes over 2-4 measures. Hence the problem.

You could just twist the volume dial when you're recording.
So you are saying that twisting the volume while recording will decrease the record volume? That would surprise me, but I'll check it out,... Although I can't trust it while I'm playing.
