Just figured I'd post a few. The view is very inspiring. Spectacular even.

Thru the haze that day you can barely make out the CN Tower in the 5th and 6th pictures. It's much better on a clear day.

And the small bedroom depicted will become my studio.

I should be moving in not this week but the following.

BTW, all the walls and floor and ceiling are solid concrete so hopefully no noise complaints :) Keep your fingers crossed :D

Many thanks Ray! :)

I've been up all night packing and right now I'm in the process of disassembling my network to the bare minimum.

Come Wednesday my internet goes black while my dry loop is transferred to the new apartment.

For the next week I'll be living on a cellphone and free doughnut shop internet. :p

I should be packed up and ready to go by next weekend and hopefully will be able to move in the following Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

50% chronic sleep disorder, 50% pre-move panic :D

I'm too worked up to sleep so I'm busily packing up a storm.

With my father's illness and sad demise last year I've been busting my ass for the past three years to tie up his affairs and get the house sold. I am utterly exhausted and plan to slip into a coma for the entire month of November this year. :p

My 60th birthday is coming up this October and I have to say I'm getting waaaay too old for this sh*t.

Hopefully this is my last move until I'm ready for Happy Acres Rest Home :D

Wow, what a view! Hope the move all goes well! :)

Quick question - what is the purpose of the little glass room? Never seen something like that before!

Amazing place. Is it northbound? For sure is a quiet place to live, not farway from downtown. Nice place to live and be happy. Good for you.

Becky >>> The little glass room is a solarium. In lieu of balconies they build high rises here with solariums these days. Personally I think it's a waste of space but not much I can do there. I think I'll use it as a smoking room so as not to inflict my tobacco on visiting guests. The windows open about 5 inches with safety locks and screens to keep the loonies from spitting on passersby :D

Fred >>> The bookshelves are my own. I took a small load over last week with my van.

Oriane >>> The apt. faces due East. To the South is Lake Ontario and to the East the Toronto Skyline is about 20 Km away as the crow flies. The lake is visible from the small angled window in the Solarium. Sadly however, there is some kind of power plant or somesuch monstrosity in the middle of that view.

I should be able to see some amazing sunrises in the coming years.

BTW, there's a pedestrian footbridge in the back lot that leads directly to the commuter rail station and bus terminal. It's literally 3 mins. walk away. I can leave my van at home and visit downtown Toronto in under an hour. The sound of the trains doesn't really seem to carry up to the 9th floor.
