Hi,
I'm a 78 year old dinosaur novice to keyboards; I bought my first keyboard which arrived the Monday after Christmas it's an E383. I quickly decided to upgrade and have had an SX920 for a very short time so I'm finding my way around or trying to.
I'm puzzled why both keyboards vary so much in sound output with voices selected; with the main volume control set at full some of the voice volumes are very weak but then suddenly as I select another voice it lifts the roof really making me jump.
I'm sure this must be down to my ignorance and lack of experience; I can spend a great deal of time trying to sort it myself but often it's best to ask.
My new keyboard corner in the front room set up today. I like both keyboards. I have a studio to the bungalow rear where I started to learn violin four years ago but in winter it takes a lot of heating; I can record playing my violins using a Tascam Pocket studio also I'm a member of two stringed instrument forums. No one's ever too old to learn new things?
Any help will be very much appreciated.
Kind regards, Col. (Colin)
