Synching midi with audio

Is there a way to synch midi to audio? I am playing along with a recorded audio vocal track on my first keyboard (Yamaha P515) and sending left hand chords by midi to my second keyboard (Technics KN7000), but can't use rhythms or pads as the second keyboard doesn't know the beat.

Sonny says no, but there is, but only if audio had smpte or similar timing signal on an audio track. The timing signal for midi is coded 240/248 and older timing signals such as square wave pulses or audio pulses can be converted to midi sync via converter electronics. If there is no recorded sync pulse with the audio then in principle there is no way to get the timing to midi.

On the KN7000, go to program menus, computer connection, chose "KN as slave", and connect the Yamaha according to the diagram.
