I haven't produced a real tune in well over 6 months.

This weekend I'm creating a masterpiece come hell or high water.

I'm open to requests for a style.

Well, if it's -7 C outside, that means you need to compose something "toasty warm"! Something tropical island-ish? Caribbean? Jamaican? Hawaiian? Or maybe dry (as in "parched") land-ish? Mexican? Arabian?

The entire objective of the exercise is to shut out the outside weather and escape into musical delusion.

I'll have to lock myself into the studio after breakfast and then see what inspiration hits.

Hi! Gary I listened to this full-tempo song on Soundcloud. Boy, I think winter really does influence you. During the night, and if it blows, that temperature drops even more. It's tricky, but I think you're going to have a really cool and prolonged time ahead of you to get inspired. Nice.

Thanks for the like on Soundcloud Oriane. Comments on the track page are always welcome as well. Interestingly enough if you google happyrat1 these days it comes up with a handful of asian, middle eastern and russian websites that are mirroring my soundcloud tunes in their native language.

While it may be a horrible violation of my copyright I feel somewhat flattered that these sites considered my tunes worth stealing.

I may still report them as they are listing downloadable MP3 files which I definitely never authorized on Soundcloud.
