Hi
I’m buying a Genos (1 or 2) and I have a Tyros 4 to px. I’ve got 23 banks of one touch settings, so around 180 songs amassed over the years!!!!
Does anyone know if it’s possible to transfer these from the Tyros 4 to the Genos?

23 banks of one touch settings?
How did you save „banks of OTS“? OTS are part of styles. There are style banks, just registration banks and multipad banks.
Did you mean registration banks? You can copy them anywhere, but they will work only, if the same „OTS voices“ will be in that another instrument.

If you want to transfer registration banks from Tyros to Genos you should use the free programm Yamaha Registration Manager, avalable on the internet. Maybe you have to tweak voices that are not available on Genos.

Not even needed, (Backwards compatibility has always been part of Yamaha arrangers; sideways i.e. other lines and forwards compatibility are why we *need* Murray Best's YRM!) Genos plays all Tyros 4 registrations; and as Genos contains all the voices from T5, T4 and earlier (plus more) there's literally nothing you need to do, unless you wish to insert the new Genos voices into your registrations.

You *do* need to tweak because of missing styles, however.
