Using Kawai ES920 as midi - speaker sound?!

Hi. Apologies in advance if this is an elementary error/fix...

I have a Yamaha CK-61 as my main gig board. For an upcoming gig, I have to cover bass duties (busy left hand).

For the sound engineer to be able to manage bass levels and right hand levels independently, I'm going to use a second board for bass - a Kawai ES920.

So, I want to send and play the bass sound (split 1) from the Yamaha CK-61 to the Kawai ES920.

I don't mind if the bass sound still comes out from the CK-61 when I play the Kawai ES920 (which is happening right now), but I need the CK-61 bass sound to come out of the Kawai ES920 and I need to be able to then hook up the ES920 to a speaker/desk channel so that the CK-61 bass sound coming out of the ES920 can be managed as a separate channel.

I currently have Midi Out from the Kawai ES920 going into the Midi In of the CK-61.

I turned off 'Local Control' on the Kawai es920, and that gets rid of the default piano sound on the ES920 that had been coming through on top of the bass sound from the CK-61...BUT, all the sound, while correct, is now only coming out of the CK-61.

Question: How do I get the CK-61's (bass) sound to come out of the Kawai ES920's speakers?

Thank you in advance for any steer you can provide.
