There's a program called SynthFont which is a MIDI sequencer, sample player, and plugin host. I think you might be able to use it to edit a soundfont. If not, the same software developer has other programs available, such as Viena. If you want a plugin that you can use in your DAW, there is also a VST version of SynthFont.
