I'm not a fan of computers for live performances in general. Be that as it may, I've noticed that my two daughter's MacBooks break their screens far faster than my Dell (Windows) laptop. It seems that making the laptop extremely thin also makes them a bit more fragile. Buy a sturdy computer.

My personal experience with PCs has always been with various models from the Lenovo range (Thinkbook(?)), always bought used/refurbished from eBay.
They tend to be designed for business use and consequently of solid construction. (Good reviews.)
I'm still not a fan of Windows 10 (yet) so would go, for instance, for a T420 (not the "s" model) with Win 7 on it. 8GB and 7200rpm or SSD drive.
I configure all networking OFF, and transfer files via SD card or USB/eSATA hard disk.
So far, so good. (Fingers crossed) ;-)
It's worked, so far, for me.
