Take a look at the keyboards in the arranger category. Like Riotblade suggested, start with Yamaha and broaden your search as necessary from there.
At some point you will have to do some in-store test driving to see what you like. Don't worry about not knowing anything. Just wander in, and the staff should have no problem with spending as long as you like trying out the goods.
