GREYED OUT DSP for MIDI channel EFFECT tab
I enjoy playing the internet's free midi files.
Sometimes I want to change the instruments because the dgx-670 preset sound has a better sounding voice then the usual GM+XG, GS OR GM2.
If you are still following me here, I'm referring to the MIXER/EQ button above the STYLE CONTROL buttons and the REVOICE mode that occurs when you press ENTER after scrolling up on the initial VOLUME/PAN screen to the row of illustrated instruments.
No problem here. There are at this point 16 channels to chose from. Now I refer to the TAB button and I am tabbing to the EFFECT tab. It shows rows of controls for Reverb, Chorus and DSP.
Now my question: The DSP is greyed out. In the past I tried blindly to get DSP to NOT be greyed out. I was successful after hitting ENTER and selecting one or more selections in the resulting menu.
I cannot seem to remember what I did. Any suggestions?
