Yamaha MOXF6 / MOXF8 - Pattern Mode - Mod Wheel Variations

In pattern mode, whenever I select a different track, I get different mod wheel responses. I have two piano tracks. When on one track, one mod wheel produces a reverb, while on the other track the mod wheel produces nothing. On other tracks, the mod wheel produces vibrato. It is the same voice. So how do I modify the mod wheel response in pattern mode for each track? I thought changing the voice settings would work, but as I noted, these are the same voices with different mod wheel responses in this pattern

Also when I change tracks to play back as accompaniment, on some tracks the sustain pedal works, while on other tracks it does not work

I have spent many many hours trying to solve this, watching tutorials, but nothing helps
