Hello, I have a Yamaha mx88 keyboard and have connected it to my MacBook via usb connection. When I open Logic Pro x, the midi data is transferred and I have remote control to the DAW.
The only problem is that I want to use the voice data inside my keyboard and play them in seperate tracks in Logic Pro. When I play one thing in a track then change the voice directly on the keyboard, the track changes its midi sound as well. When I had a windows pc, I was able to 'download' the mx voice list and have the voices show up in cubase but I have no idea how to do it on Logic Pro.
Some things I have tried:
- Using external instrument plugin
- Changing 'Program' (which changed the voice on my keyboard)
Sorry If I'm not making much sense, any advice is much appreciated!
