I am rookie here but have been reading up on similar threads but it's not working.
So I was going to connect my keyboard to my PC because i wanted to try some learning apps like, Piano Marvel or Simply Piano.
So I bought a cable, midi to usb, and plugged it in, in hopes to think it would work directly. It did not.
I tried to install these drivers: https://uk.yamaha.com/en/support/updates/umd_win64_kbd.html but also got the error message "Error 25001".
It seemed like my PC did not register the plugged in keyboard, though it makes the sound when plugged in.
I've updated my USB 2.0-MIDI drivers. Can't figure out what's wrong.
Not sure what my question is either, but am thankfull for all advice!
