I spent some time doing recordings this afternoon for another forum I visit
so i guessed it'll be a good idea to open the same topic here where
you'll upload your own recordings.

I recommend using www.box.net for easy upload and sharing

Here it goes...

First a few recordings i've don on KORG TR i sold a month and a half ago:

[edit: link no longer available]
It's a song by one of our bands here in croatia.

[edit: link no longer available]
I guess you'll all know this one - Titanic theme

[edit: link no longer available]
This one is a song of my own... not finished though... still have to make
up another 2 minutes or so :)

And now for the songs played on theMOTIF ES

[edit: link no longer available]
Just an intro of the Morrowind theme

[edit: link no longer available]
November rain - has plenty of mistakes cause I got myself tangled in
my earphones cable during play... have to get a longer cable...

[edit: link no longer available]
One of us - a really nice smooth song played not so really nice and smooth :D

Wow those demos sound great. :D I really like the first one.

Thnx. I just finished a demo recording for one of my own songs with a friend of mine. She wrote some lyrics, and when I do the rest of my part she's of
to the studios :)

Sorry about that PM... I answered you... Anyway...

It's the same song from one of my recordings above but it's finished.
It lasts around 3:30, and when everything is finished I'll post it here.

We're not that ambitious :D

Yeah I really like the first one too. How do you hook up you keys to your computer? I borrowed my buddy's m-box for awhile, but he needed it back. Now im looking to buy something similar, but the m-box is way expensive. It came with protools though, which is rad but that program is ridiculously hard to figure out. Anyways, i want something a bit cheaper than that thing. What do you use?

Just plug it in your LINE IN and set up your PC to record from it.
That's about it.

Gasp! The Morrowind theme! And you play it pretty darn well if I might say so. I'm so gonna try that out right away! :D Damn that's smooth playing man, keep it coming ^^

One question, did you learn the Morrowind theme by ear?

Actually it's too bright... i tingled with the knobs a bit too much :D

And the morrowind theme song is not that complicated at all.

you play the melody in your right hand which is easy, and you have
a simple pattern in your left hand starting in c minor (C G C).

The cords for this small clip are:

c-minor, D#, Bb, G#
c-minor, D#, G#, G#
c-minor, D#, Bb, G#

Double check this cause my keyboard is upstairs and i'm a bit lazy to run upstairs right now :D

one small update...

The left-hand pattern is not C G C, it's C G D#, so you'll have to stretch your fingers a little bit :)

Now I only wish for bigger hands xD

<<Gratwhol>>

:D no need for that. Just lift your hand up. You don't have to keep the base note pressed all the time. If you do want that note to be more "longer" lasting just press your sustain pedal... but be careful not to mess up your right hand tones then cause they will last longer too.
