I have a microKorg and i love the tones i get from it, not only that but i have many customized tones, but it is just not suitable for live perfomance.

Currently I am using a P.O.S as a midi controller for the microKorg, but i would prefer to use my Yamaha DGX-305.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Or can i get the tones from the microKorg onto my Yamaha?

Your help will make music history.

If it's like my DGX-505 it is not set up to connect via MIDI directly to other keyboards. There would have to be a PC between the microKorg and the DGX.

If your keyboard has a round-shaped jack called MIDI OUT, you should be able to connect them with a MIDI cable. If it only has a USB, you will not. Simple, isn't it? :)
