Juno DS 61 no sound

New out of the box, I am plugging directly into an amp and am getting no sound- same with earphones. Getting ready to send it back.

Any suggestions?

Have you the got the correct voltage setting?
We have 240 volts in Australia
Other countries have 110 volts.
Check that first.
