i'm a guitar player. i'm not keyboard or midi savvy. i just have a quick question. i have a casio ctk593 that has been sitting around for years. it's got the midi IN and OUT ports. can i use this as a midi "controller"??? i'm not even sure what that is, but i think i may need one. i'm trying to, somehow, run my digital drum set (which has midi "out") into my computer. i want to be able to create midi "signals" so i can create drum patterns by means of drum mapping in a software program that i have. i'm planning on running my drums through a processor that hooks-up via usb to my computer. ...any help?????
