I need a little help finding the right rack mount. I have a Yamaha Motif that is now virtually unplayable because of the keys popping out of place. I bought one of those new Casios with the 88 weighted keys. It's very nice to carry around but it's basically a toy. The sounds are really not that good. Anyway, I'm looking for a really good rack mount to midi thru that Casio. I am looking at the Motif modules and I know what they can do. Is there anything out there better than the Motif module? Here's what I'm looking for: I need to be able to split the keyboard into 4 sections with a different sound on each section, I need a really good piano sound, a really good B3 sound and some decent horns. A sampler would be a big plus too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

    Welcome to the forum.

Which Casio do you have and what's the budget?

Hi. Casio Privia. And I'm trying to keep it under $500. I'll probably buy something used.

Which model of Privia? You mention it feels "toy like." Is he piano in it enough to cover your piano requirements? Not sure about its MIDI capabilities but I know the PX-3 does splits and zones.

Is getting the Motif repaired an option?
