I can't believe it took me four weeks to find out that Chick Corea has passed away!!!

Cancer, not Covid took him from us. I loved his stuff back in the seventies.

He WILL be missed.

I went to see Return to Forever back in 1978(?). Played 5 songs and an encore. The show was 3 hours long. Amazing musicians (still).

Sad indeed!
We just featured him at our "Jazz and Blues"apreciation U3A course last week. No one in the class mentioned he had passed.

I had no idea. Not mentioned in the news.

Yes, was sad to hear... /c: First heard him on t.v. with John Patitucci and Dave Weckl (when I was a high - schooler).

Bought the album "Light Years", recorded it to cassette, played it for my high school buddies. A few of them latched on.

Chick Corea is the modern - day virtuoso, his legacy infinite...
