Sound from 2 Midi Apps at the same time.

I have recently upgraded to a M Audio Oxygen 49 from a low end Casio. I want to play the Oxygen 49 through Ableton Live 10 Lite and at the same time playback .kar files in the PSRUTI midi utility app.
If Ableton is running and I load a .kar file in PSRUTI I get a "Midiport Not Available "error. Can anyone tell me how to overcome this at low, if any, cost. Thanks. (HP Laptop, 4 Gb)

EDIT: Note that I'm not suggesting the issue is specifically with "Line Out," but rather with "exclusive mode" on any audio devices on your system.
