so I want to try and make myself a talk box based on moot booxles "ghetto talk box" on YouTube. I want to play it on my concertmate 980 After looking around on YouTube I saw that some peoples keyboards did not put enough sound into the speaker, yet other electric instruments like a keytar did put out more My question is with my keyboard does anyone have any suggetions on what size of speaker I should use. And I'd like to emphasize that I want to spend as little money as possible.
I used a cheapo 10w guitar amp , a funnel and a rubber hose. glued the funnel to the amp's face and sellotaped the tube to a mic. so you'd just plug the keyboard into the amp and the mic into another bigger amp or a PA, no nonreversable modding neccecary, although You can damage the speaker I think -but i never and on a cheap amp that's not a major cause for concern
