Hey all, I'm hoping someone out there can help me. I want to sell my Yamaha DX 7 2FD but realized that it won't turn on. I tried to open it and look for a fuse but to no avail. Does anyone have any idea where the fuse is located...or even if this is the problem? I know there was a battery in the original DX7. Is there one in this model too? If so, maybe that's dead...which begs the question, how do I replace that? Any help would be great. Thanks everyone!
The battery would most likely be used for refreshing the memory that stores presets, not for powering the keyboard on, so that's probably not your problem.
