I'm wanting to purchase an 88-key weighted action keyboard and I've narrowed down to the Yamaha ESX8 and the MOX8. There is a decent price differential between the two but I cannot determine exactly why. Both seem to have the same sound engine and production capabilities. Can anyone explain why I can get the MOX8 for 1.6k while the ESX8 is 2.5k? Thanks!
I can't find any information for an ESX8. Are you sure you have the right model number? Do you mean Motif XS8? The Y-man
Yes...sorry about the confusion on that...and also I believe I've found a little more about the differences. The production capabilities and computer/software interface are better on the XS8 but it weighs about twice as much. I've pretty much made up my mind to go with the MOX8 because of the weight consideration. Thanks for the reply.
