Which are the main differences between this two models?? i was gonna buy the yamaha s90es in the yamaha store near my house... but found out that there has been a new version in the market for quite a long time now...so , in general terms which one is better???
As the name after the number suggests, each one is a derivate of a flagship workstation motif. The s90ES was released when the Motif ES was the flagship keyboard... And since the XS came out, they released the s90XS (also the s70XS) The XS features some new things such as recording your performances as a wave file on a USB, a bigger waveROM, new pianos, the XS engine with new articulation voices..., but has a smaller screen. If you can get a used S90ES cheap then go for it... if you don't mind the cash difference - go and get the XS. Both are fine
