Not just America.
Our Prison system had a remand prisoner who is an alleged Terrorist, notice I use the word had.
OK this guy who is an alleged Terrorist was given the privileged position of working in the Kitchen where because of the abundance of sharp items otherwise knows as knives, together with hot and heavy pans aka something to brain the other inmates with all in the cause of some religion or misguided belief.
What does this guy do?
Well, during a delivery he walks up to the delivery truck, slides underneath it and he clings on until he is driven outside the prison where he legs it.
The escape has been all over our News for two days.

And judging by the near daily killings in this town, both our murderers are probably winging their way to Bloody Toronto as we speak.
What a difference a River and a whole upbringing and way of life make.
I saw a TV programmes years ago, two Canadian Cops talking on the Riverbank to the English reporter who asked about crime in the City of Niagara, they responded by saying that it was typical Canadian, minor petty disturbances, the odd break in.
What about over there the Reporter asked, pointing over the River to the the American city, “oh, there was a murder there a few days ago, and another last week” one Cop said.
The Cops looked at each other, and one said, ”when was our last murder?” .
With great thought the fellow Cop responded, “about twenty years ago”.
Yet somebody in the USA gets 30 years in jail for going “Walk About” in a State Building, whilst the instigator puts his feet up in his Multi Million Dollar Mansion, it can only happen in the USA.

Do you actually know the citizenship status of the felons in question?
I've met plenty of scummy natural born citizens of many nationalities and Americans are among the worst.
Multiply that by the fact that the are more guns than people in the USA and foreigners have absolutely nothing to do with that lifestyle choice.
In fact, America exports its gun culture with every media posting.
Canada didn't have a gun problem, until the gangs started smuggling them into the country from legal American sources.
