Hi All,

I hadn't realised it was Zombie Thread week - must have not being paying attention.

So although late to the party, I thought I'd submit my own contribution.

This one comes from a chap by the name of W. A. Mozart. He joined the forum around 1784 I believe, which is why it's hard to find it using the search function these days.

Due to a lack of proficiency in the German language, I'm not entirely sure what he is asking here - but I think it might be something like "is violin better than harpsichord?"

Hope some of you guys can help. No rush though, he's been waiting a while for an answer.

Sometimes zombie threads can be refreshing in their revival.

See below and their is a bunch of threads under the heading "SIMILAR THREADS". I am often tempted to open up some of these.

Some of these threads are very old and often newbies link up unaware that the thread is history. A Zombie thread to the pioneers of this forum maybe dull and boring but refreshing and exciting for new explorers.

That's true! After my absence I find it interesting when topics from that time make a reappearance - it would have been too much to try and read through everything when I came back, but it's nice to see a little of what was going on while I was ill :)
