The technology's really not all that hard. It's mostly cookie cutter cut and paste stuff.

If you really get confused by reading docs the best way to learn is search youtube for the tutorials on DAWs, home recording, MIDI and anything else you might be fuzzy on.

Once you understand it basic MIDI recording is not complicated at all.
