PSB Always on my mind sound?

Not really sure what category this goes in, but does anybody know what sounds are used in the intro of the pet shop boys version of "always on my mind"? I use a Kurzweil.

Sounds to me like a synth drum kit, a moog bass and a few orchestra hits sliding off into a string ensemble.
