Zones? What are they?

What are zones on axiom 25. How do they work?

I've never used axiom 25, but usually when talking about "zones", it's the function which lets you split your keyboard into different sections, so you can have one sound in your lower section of the keyboard, another in the middle, and a third sound in your higher section, or whereever you want to have them.
