While I was looking around I found: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/prod...dition-Keyboard-Production-Station?sku=703216 I have a lot of ideas going through my head with this one and it's open architecture!! The only thing that has me worried is the WindowsXP operating system. Decisions, decisions...
Here's some more info on this sexy board: http://www.openlabs.com/timba-overview-tse.html Talk about having the jitters! My synth and keyboard fetish must be checked into some type of treatment - I mean, I'm really having emotions over this !!!
Ye gods! That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I'm lucky that I'm a complete newbie and couldn't possibly need anything nearly as advanced as that. Otherwise, I'd have no choice but to start saving up the money for it. I can only imagine what you're going through. BTW: My laptop runs on WindowsXP. I don't know, a keyboard running it would be a bit worrying. But still, that is one sweet instrument there.
If I had the $5K I'd get it! I've owned the Ensoniq ZR76 since new, and to be able to get ALL those keys would be a definite plus, I love mine! I wish I could find more floppy discs for the ZR. Since the Windows program is internal, core2duo, which I use in my studio (XP Pro) with Cubase, AA 2.0, I don't think there is any stability issues....you dream weaver, stop it!
