I recently purchased an AX-Edge about a month ago and downloaded the AX-Edge Editor app to connect it via Bluetooth. The connection worked perfectly the first time, but from the second attempt onward, it stopped connecting. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app and updating my drivers to the latest version, but the problem persists. Interestingly, it connects without any issues on my iPad, but it won’t connect to my smartphone, a Galaxy S23 Ultra (Android).

I’m also curious why it worked perfectly the first time but stopped working afterward. Does anyone know why this might be happening or how to fix it?

I do t have any of your gear but maybe some of my experiences may help you.

I use yamaha bluetooth midi adaptors and have connectivity to anyoif 2 ipads or 2 iphones. Source and recipients include yamaha, hammond keyboards and loopers (rc300/600)

The most common reason I have found for not being abke to connect is thatbit is already connected to anothe device. Ie I want ti connect to ipad1 but its biund with my iphone already.

The second most common is that the keyboard config has turned midi control off.

Yep, just experienced this with my mini hydra speaker. Use to connect to my tablet but now i get a message that says "couldnt connect". Uninstalled, unpair, etc. no dice .... grabbed my phone to see if i had the same problem and saw my phone was already connected to the hydra. Now i actually havent tried to connect my phone to the hydra in months but apparently if bluetooth is turned on and the phone is in range and the hydra speaker is turned on the phone auto connects. So when i tried to connect my tablet to the speaker it was already connected to my phone. It would be nice to have had a message that says "the speaker is already connected to device xx-yyyyy" rather than a generic "couldnt connect" message.

Check all devices that you previously paired to the ax-edge and turn bluetooth off on those devices then your phone should reconnect without issue.

You may have a limit to the number of Bluetooth devices that your phone/tablet whatever will support.
Bluetooth rarely supports unlimited connectivity. Check your setting on all your devices.
