Hi. I have an SL88 controller and SL Mixface for the sole purpose of controlling hardware in rehearsal and live, no Daws or PCs. I have a tried a setup with 4 zones (Piano, Mellotron Choir, a soft pad and Strings in a performance in Roland Juno DS), where I have setup the zones with CC07 for each channel.
I can't get the faders to control volume for the zones individually. As is now I first have to choose a zone via the colored mode/zone buttons before I can change the volume in that zone, and then again having to push another zone button if I want to change volume in next zone. This takes extra time and focus from my playing and, to be honest, annoys me.
I thought I could have 1 program in Mixface where I could use 4 different faders/drawbars to change volume easy with no hassle. Is there a way to have Mixface as simple as a plain mixer, just change volume on the go for each channel/instrument without having to push buttons each time?
