Hi mate, good to see a fan of funk/soul keyboards. I also love those styles as well, especially EP and Organ funk playing.
YeahDolt - There isn't an actual funk scale, funk is mainly blues / jazz based but with a typical 4/4 feel, Funk is very much a rhythmic feeling style. Lots of Funk info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funk
