I have had a keen interest in keyboard-based music since my older brother introduced me to the likes of Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk many years ago.
Having self-built a single-chip synthesizer in the 80's I then made an attempt at a modular synth from a magazine (the name escapes me). Unfortunately I never got to complete this project.
I have been looking recently at some of the sequencer and tracking software out there with a view to dabbling in creating my own music. Any suggestions regarding entry-level midi keyboards and software would be most welcome.
