Pa5x mic isn't working...Also the same problem is on my Pa4x Both used to work when new. Thanks! The local dealer employs the only repair person in this territory and he can't/won't work on anything that wasn't bought from the dealer. Any options? Thanks!

Maybe a dumb question but are you using the same mic that worked earlier with your keyboards? If not and you are now using a condenser mic, it will need to either have a built-in battery or be powered via a phantom power source such as a suitable mixer or dedicated phantom power supply.

Thank you for the feedback. Yes, I've tried different mics and have always used phantom power for my Neumann 105. Especially on the Pa4x it worked for years and now doesn't. I'm not sure how to find the nearest Korg service repair.

It does seem strange that it is the same for both keyboards. I would try some contact cleaner sprayed into the mic socket and while it's still wet, rapidly plug and unplug the mic a few times, just in case some oxidization has built up.
