Hi ,
Ted is correct, you could create styles from midi files in style works , but it was still a lot of work, you still had to choose tracks, pick starting points, one advantage it had, was that it transposed the chords into a single chord type, but not necessarily very well.
If you need to turn your midi file into a single chord type there’s software available (and free ) to turn them into Yamaha styles, then the can be converted to a .mid file that can be imported into your Korg.
Possibly the one you mentioned or Midi2Style

Yamaha and Korg styles are quite similar. Basically Yamaha markers need to be changed to Korg markers. Channels 9 & 11 need to be swapped. Percussion and bass are on opposite channels.
Then save and import into Korg style editor. Then do the necessary editing in the Korg itself.
The videos below are for PA5x, but there maybe some useful information.
Qui doesn’t change midI file into single chord type, he picks sections that don’t have chord changes.
BTW korgs styles don’t need to be in key of C. You can use any chord type or key, you just have to put the correct key and chord type in the style settings.
The Root and the Type. So for dm7 chord , Root D, Type m7.
When played a style, it will play back the correct chords.
Makes it a lot easier to pick your sections, if it can be based on any chord.
