Sustain pedal not recording when I play on m-audio hammer 88 pro

Hi All,
When I record through Ableton Live using my midi controller, the sustain pedal doesn't record. You can hear it while play but on play back you have to also press the pedal to hear the sustain.
I cannot get it to record with the software.

Any Advice
