Actually a Cakewalk INS File is simply a text file with the instrument names and MIDI codes laid out in logical order.

There are many tutorials out there on how to create and modify these files yourself.

I've done a few of them myself in the past.

All you really need is the MIDI voice list for the instrument and a good editor to copy and paste the info into the file.

Tutorials can be found here.

Good luck and be sure to post the result to the community once you're done.

You'll never learn if you don't try. And it's unfair to expect to have all the work done for you all the time.

Like i said, I've created over a half dozen INS files over the past two decades and always released my work to the community.

The work was much appreciated.

But if you're not willing to do the work then who the hell do you expect to do it for you?

My Juno DS is not connected to my DAW so I have no need to finish what somebody else started.

Well tell your friend that if Google doesn't turn up anything better, then what you have is all he gets.

Most people post them once they've created them. I found the one I posted over on the cakewalk forums.

You could always create an account over there and post your request but you'll probably still get the same answers from that group.
